Day three of thinc 2012 started with a special visit from one of the most famous Americans ever – George Washington.  The General talked to us about the winter at Valley Forge and the admiration he has for the men and women who stayed here with him.

It was the perfect set up for our excursion to Valley Forge National Park.  Our trolley tour took us all over the park with stops at the cabins, Washington’s headquarters and more.

Since it was another beautiful day we brought our science supplies with us and had Einstein Hour in the park.  Today we explored the wonderful properties of water and talked about protecting our natural resources.  There were seven different stations, but it was station 8 that got everyone really excited.  Station 8 is the swimming pool, by the way.

After swimming we hosted the PFF Olympics that featured such events as Waterballoon Archery and Potato Sack Track and Field.  From the olympics we returned to the dorm for our daily reflections and then off to bed.
